Our Story

More than two decades in the making.

ITXAO may be a newer name, but the work behind it began in 2001.

Our founder, Tabatha, was working with a program that provided financial and administrative services to businesses. When that program ended, the clients it served were at risk of losing the support they depended upon. Rather than leave those businesses without critical services, Tabatha began serving them independently, providing full-cycle accounting and human resources support including financial statement preparation, payroll, compliance and government billing.

What began as a commitment to those clients grew into more than two decades of consulting alongside a career in corporate financial and operational leadership.

Over the years, Tabatha has worked with dozens of small businesses, often during pivotal stages in their development. For some, that meant building their accounting and HR infrastructure from the ground up—implementing ERP and business systems, establishing workflows and internal controls, developing work instructions and SOPs, and creating the financial and operational structure necessary to support growth. For others, it meant stepping into businesses facing years of inaccurate accounting, inadequate processes, compliance concerns or incomplete records and helping reconstruct their books, correct deficiencies and establish sustainable practices going forward.

At the same time, Tabatha's corporate career progressed into senior and executive financial leadership, including roles as CFO, Secretary/Treasurer and Corporate Financial Controller. Her experience expanded across privately held, entrepreneurial, private-equity-backed and publicly traded organizations and into increasingly complex areas including ERP implementation and integration, multi-entity accounting, audit support, internal controls, financial analysis, forensic accounting, historical reconstruction and litigation support.

That combination of small-business consulting and executive-level experience became the foundation for ITXAO.

The Evolution of ITXAO

In 2024, the consulting practice that began more than two decades earlier was formally expanded and launched as ITXAO—a firm designed to bring accounting, finance, human resources, systems, people and operations together under one approach.

We understand that businesses don't all need the same thing. Some need help building the right infrastructure from the beginning. Others need someone willing to step into years of accounting, HR, systems or process problems and help untangle them. Still others need experienced financial and operational leadership during periods of growth, transition or system implementation.

Wherever we enter the story, our objective is the same: strengthen the business, create financial and operational clarity, and give leadership greater confidence in the information they use to make decisions.

More Than Accurate Books

We believe businesses deserve more than accurate books—they deserve to understand their business with confidence.

That's why our work doesn't end with financial statements, system implementations or completed projects. We document processes, establish meaningful controls, create transparency and help business owners understand what their financial information is telling them. Our goal is not to create dependency on a consultant, but to leave leadership better informed and better equipped to manage the business long after an engagement ends.

We also believe technology should make businesses better, not simply more automated. ERP systems, software and AI can create tremendous efficiencies, but only when supported by sound processes, appropriate controls and thoughtful human oversight.

At the heart of ITXAO is a philosophy Tabatha has carried throughout her career:

Meet Our Leadership

Tabatha Stewart | Founder & President

Tabatha brings more than 25 years of experience across accounting, finance, human resources, operations and business systems. Throughout her career, she has served in executive and senior financial leadership roles including CFO, Secretary/Treasurer and Corporate Financial Controller, working with organizations ranging from entrepreneurial and privately held businesses to private-equity-backed and publicly traded companies.

Her experience spans manufacturing, oilfield services, construction, distribution, home services and other complex operating environments. She has led ERP implementations and system migrations, strengthened internal controls, developed SOPs, improved financial and operational processes, supported audits, and managed complex financial reporting, payroll, HR and multi-entity environments.

Tabatha also brings experience in forensic and litigation-support accounting, including historical financial reconstruction, complex financial analysis, Big Four audit support, preparation of executive and litigation materials, and testimony in legal proceedings. Her work has helped organizations identify financial exposure, strengthen controls and improve financial visibility through better processes and oversight.

A SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and QuickBooks Online Certified professional, Tabatha combines traditional financial discipline with a strong understanding of technology and automation. Her systems experience includes SAP Business One, NetSuite, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics GP, QuickBooks, ADP, ServiceTitan, FieldRoutes and other accounting, ERP, payroll and operational platforms. She believes technology—including AI—is most powerful when paired with thoughtful implementation, appropriate controls and human oversight.

Beyond her professional work, service remains an important part of Tabatha’s life. She has served in legislative affairs with North Texas SHRM and currently serves on the board of Canyonlands Field Institute, supporting finance and digital marketing. Her volunteer work has also included youth programs, community outreach, women’s mentoring and charitable initiatives.

Outside the office, Tabatha is an avid hiker, traveler and novice photographer who is happiest exploring the outdoors—usually with a camera nearby.

Adele Harding | Controller

Adele is an accounting and operations professional with over five years of progressive experience spanning controllership, financial operations, treasury, payroll, ERP implementation, and process improvement.

Adele studied at Tarleton State University, where she distinguished herself academically, maintaining honors-level academic standing within the university’s cum laude GPA range. She also served as Captain of the Tarleton State University Color Guard, where her leadership and dedication earned her the opportunity to represent Tarleton in Hawaii, marching in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade. With a natural aptitude for mathematics and a genuine love of numbers, accounting became a natural career path.

Adele’s experience includes two years serving in a Controller capacity, with oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable, sales, payroll, commissions, treasury, and cash forecasting. A proven leader, she has experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects from planning through successful completion.

Her systems experience includes ERP integrations and migrations across both accounting and human resources. She has participated in complex financial reconstruction and forensic accounting work alongside a Big Four accounting firm, as well as a migration from QuickBooks Online to SAP Business One. During the SAP implementation, Adele played a key role in the accounts payable and treasury workstreams, including procure-to-pay processes and three-way match controls.

Adele brings a combination of technical accounting knowledge, operational understanding, systems experience, and an analytical mindset to her work. She is particularly passionate about building organized, reliable financial processes that give business owners greater visibility and confidence in their numbers.

Outside of work, Adele enjoys reading and crocheting, volunteers with children’s programs, and loves spending time with her husband and two children.

Cesar Gomez | Controller

Cesar brings more than a decade of executive-level experience spanning finance, accounting, operations, and business management. His career combines strong financial discipline with the operational perspective of a leader who has managed people, processes, and complex business environments.

Prior to his work in corporate accounting and finance, Cesar held executive operational leadership roles, including serving as General Manager of Live Nation’s House of Blues. That experience shaped his practical approach to financial leadership and his understanding that strong financial results begin with strong operations, effective processes, and accountable teams.

A graduate of Southern New Hampshire University, Cesar’s studies emphasized accounting and business administration. Bilingual in English and Spanish, he brings an ability to communicate and build relationships across diverse teams and organizations.

Cesar’s commitment to leadership extends beyond the workplace. He has organized community charity events benefiting music and arts programs in Allentown schools, supported fundraising initiatives with high school basketball programs throughout Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley, and helped organize food drives benefiting local families and children. His contributions to the community were recognized with the distinguished honor of receiving a Key to the City of Allentown.

Cesar also has a personal commitment to causes supporting individuals and families affected by dementia.

As Controller at ITXAO, Cesar brings together financial expertise, operational leadership, and a people-first perspective to help businesses strengthen processes, improve financial visibility, and build sustainable foundations for growth.
